Terri is a Licensed Professional Counselor who graduated with her Master’s degree in 1991 from Central Michigan University. She has worked in a variety of professional settings and has been in private practice since 2008. In 2011, she was voted, "Greatest of the Great Lakes," Marriage Counselor, and in 2012 and 2013 "Best Personal/Family Counselor," through the Midland Daily News, Reader’s Choice Award.
Terri specializes in work with couples and relationship issues. She’s prepared well over 100 couples for marriage since the year 2000. Terri sees many individuals for depression, anxiety, grief & loss, substance abuse and work related stress. She is supportive of spiritual beliefs and practices and completed a 2 year program in Spiritual Direction. Terri enjoys seeing children and adolescents (ADHD, divorce, behavioral problems) and considers her work with young people a strength. Her counseling approach is supportive and educational, with emphasis on cognitive behavioral therapy.
